Our Heritage

Since 1964, Briants of Risborough Ltd has been open and trading here at our Green Close Works location, in Longwick village, near Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. We started out in timber haulage and the sale of forestry equipment. As we grew, in the 1970's, we identified the need to provide service and repair facilities for the chainsaws and other equipment we sold to support our customers as they maintain their own businesses. We developed our capabilities further to provide garden machinery and fencing supplies for sale. With our timber yard directly opposite, from 1985, we started manufacturing top quality fencing panels, trellis and gates, often to the bespoke design requirements of our customers. Today, we pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to not only the changing market conditions affecting our industry but also the tailored needs of our growing trade and domestic customer base.

Our Relationship with STIHL

Briants of Risborough Ltd, is proud of our well-established relationship with STIHL. As a STIHL and VIKING Approved Dealer here in the UK, we are able to offer the full portfolio of STIHL products for sale plus the facilities to service and repair all of the STIHL product range.

As a third generation family business ourselves, we closely identify with many of STIHL's guiding principles; most notably the value of being an independent family business and also of employing a strict customer orientation to everything we do. Both companies understand that our success depends on customer satisfaction.

For Briants, this customer satisfaction is three-fold : with the products they purchase, the service they receive during maintenance and aftercare plus the quality of their shopping experience with us. We take this responsibility very seriously and strive everyday to meet our customers' expectations and exceed them when and where possible.
