Fence Posts

We supply quality fence posts which are available in a variety of different materials, lengths and widths. Many customers prefer a traditional wooden post, all of which are treated to UC4 specifications and carry a 15 year expected service life, with the exception of our posts from the Jacksons fencing range, which are treated using their unique ‘Jakcure’. treatment and come with a 25 year guarantee. If you are looking for something which can’t ever rot, it’s worth considering installing a fence with concrete posts. Another option is using our Durapost range of metal posts for fencing installation.

We offer a fast and reliable local delivery service on all fencing materials (subject to area) so if you don’t have the means to collect, we will bring everything to you.

When installing timber fence posts, we strongly recommend that the treated timber is not cut or split before it is put into the ground. Cutting the timber will break the treatment seal and allow moisture to penetrate the wood, leading to rot and decay. If however, you really do need to cut the fence post, we advise cutting the top and then retreating it with preservative, and considering using a fence post cap.
