New Horizon All Plant Compost has been specially created to be the perfect compost for all fruit and vegetables, herbs & seedlings. Westland BIO3 is a revolutionary new compost formulation engineered to out perform all peat-based blends. The ingredients start nourishing the plant immediately.
Works best with seedlings, containers, fruit and veg and herbs. Not suitable for ericaceous plants. (Ericaceous compost available – contains peat)
You will get great results with this compost. After 6 weeks, we recommend supplementary feeding of nutrient hungry plants with a relevant feed.
When to Use
- Use in a well ventilated place and avoid breathing in dust.
- Always wear gloves when gardening and wash hands after use.
How to Use New Horizon Peat Free All Plant Compost
Seeds
- Fill tray with compost
- Water and allow to drain
- Make hole in compost
- Sow the seeds according to the instructions
- Water with a fine rose, and prevent drying out by using a clear cover
Potting
- Place plant in a new pot with new compost
- Fill gaps with new compost, firm down and water
- Thoroughly water the plant
- Gently tap the pot to remove, shake off loose compost
Planting Out
- Dig a hole approx. twice the depth and diameter of the root ball
- Place plant in hole with new compost
- Fill gaps with new compost, firm down and water
