As a previous owner of this model (purchased in 2006 from my local dealer under the Viking banner, now sadly looking its 15 years) I knew exactly what I was getting. The new model is virtually identical apart from the colour (now in the Stihl orange) and the addition of a heavy duty chippings guard attached at the base of the output chute. Put to use every week the performance so far has been faultless, the motor seems a bit quieter but just as powerful. I’m looking forward to many years use.
