STIHL RM253 T Self Propelled Petrol Lawn Mower | 20'' Cut

The RM235 T lawn mower features the widest cut of the 2 series Stihl petrol mower range at 20 inches (51cm). It is suitable for cutting lawns up to 1800m². The range of features on this model blend together comfort and convenience with excellent performance, for an all round great cutting experience. For instance, the single speed drive will mean the user has no necessity to push the machine along as the mower is self propelled and will just need carefully guiding across the lawn. This is especially useful when mowing an uphill stretch of grass. There are 7 different height settings, ranging from 25 to 75mm, which are easy to adjust and set. The engine itself packs lots of power, and features Stihl 'ready start', so whether cold or warm starting, the amount of effort required to do so is minimal. 

STIHL offer an extended 5 year domestic warranty on this mower (subject to annual service schedule and registration) 

Easy start engine (ReadyStart)

Whether cold starting or restarting after use the RM253 T can be started quickly and easily thanks to 'ready-start' technology.

Self-propelled

The drive mechanism within the machine will propel the mower forwards without the need for it to be pushed. This cuts down the amount of effort required, as is especially useful when mowing on slopes etc. 

Highlift blade

The design of the high-lift blade will achieve a precise finish, as well as ensure efficient filling of the grass box. The shape of the blade creates an air current in the housing of the mower, meaning the grass will strand on end prior to being cut, ensuring an even finish to the lawn. The powerful air flow system will then carry the clippings into the grass box. 

Smooth running wheels

The wheels on all STIHL lawnmowers are well made and robust. The tread pattern is designed to help keep the mower on the correct line. 

Super soft grip

For optimum comfort STIHL have included a super soft-grip handle bar. 

Foldable handlebar

The handlebars on the mower will fold down, making the machine nice and compact when storing or transporting. 

Sheet steel deck

The deck of the mower is torsion resistant steel sheet, making it solid, robust and built to last.

Central cutting height adjustment

The spring-loaded cutting height adjustment means that the minimum amount of effort is required to set the mower to the desired cutting height. The scale indicates the current cutting height.
