Description
These battens are the same as we use to construct our lap panels. Great for panel repairs and they are also commonly used as gate stops or shutting strips. When a garden gate has been hung, screwing one of these battens to the inside of the gate post on the closing side will mean the gate ‘stops’ and can’t swing out any further, thus putting pressure on the hinges.
