The STEIN Work Positioning Lanyard is constructed using a 16-strand polyester outer sheath with a 6mm (7×19) steel wire core. Both ends of the Lanyard are terminated using a crimp with a plated thimble eye inserted. This Lanyard is designed as a work positioning device or restraint used in conjunction with an approved climbing system or as a standalone work positioning / restraint device.

The device should never be used as a Fall Arrester or as part of a Fall Arrest System. The maximum rated load in accordance with these instructions is 100kg or a single user. Lanyards used for “restraint” should be of such a length that a fall situation cannot occur. Lanyards used in “work positioning” are designed to support the user when working at height and when needing a hands free environment. It may be necessary to supplement arrangements for work positioning or restraint with collective means (e.g. Safety Nets) or personal means (e.g. Fall Arrest Systems in accordance with EN363) of protection against falls from height. A Fall Arrest backup must be used if the user is not in “restraint” and there is a risk of a fall. An energy absorber must be fitted to the backup complying to EN355. The total length of a EN354 lanyard connected to an energy absorber including the energy absorber, terminations and connectors shall not exceed 2.0m.

These prusik loops serve a variety of purposes in both climbing and rigging situations .

Stein Prusik Loops are fully CE certified in the UK under the PPE regulation (EU) 2016/425.

They are manufactured from Stein ATOL Accessory Cord, a hard wearing 9.0mm 16 plait Polyester braided cover over a tough Polyester core. This accessory cord has an Average Break Load (ABL) of 2250kg.

Polyester accessory cords require rigorous safety inspection on a regular basis before, during, and after each climb.

AIR SEAL Tyre Sealant – 950ml

Premier tyre sealant has been based on technology which has been designed to reduce the probability of punctures & slow air leaks in vehicles used in both on and off road sporting & leisure activities. It also features an indefinite shelf life.

The sealant comes with a valve core tool, installation tubing & full instructions for use. A source of compressed air or foot pump is required to re-inflate the tyre, post application.

The installed cost for each tyre compares favourably with the repair of one puncture & avoids the inconvenience, time & effort involved in replacing the tyre.

TRAILERS

Recommended application for all 13″, 14″ and 15″ trailer tyres: 475ml/tyre.

It has been designed for boat trailers to inhibit conditions where high corrosion to wheels is due to immersion in coastal / river waters. It is also perfectly suited for preventing most punctures & under inflation in tyres used for caravans, light trailers, horseboxes & other similar vehicles, which are not used regularly. In these circumstances, tyres can deteriorate due to rubber porosity & slow air leaks.

It will also reduce the risk of tyre failure & safety problems while on major roads. When this occurs it causes stress for the drivers & their passengers & may be a potential hazard to themselves & other road users.

LOW PRESSURE TYRES

Recommended application for 8″, 9″, 10″ and 11″ wheel rims: up to 950ml/tyre.

GENERAL PURPOSE

4×4 On-Off Road

Recommended application On Road 475ml/tyre, Off Road 950ml/tyre.

Apart from increasing the protection for the tyres of these vehicles from punctures, other smaller types of vehicles used in off road sports would also have additional tyre protection in the rigorous conditions, which have to be met in such activities.

STEIN Copious ATOL Sewn Eye Prusik Sling – 75cm x 9mm

Modern day climbers realise the advantages of working on more technical friction hitches, many of which need friction cords with different properties and a sewn eye termination, allowing the hitch to be dressed directly onto the climbing hardware correctly.

The ATOL accessory cord has a hardwearing 16 plait polyester cover and braided polyester core. It is perfectly suited for use as a prusik and other friction hitches, offering simple knot tying thanks to it’s anti-kink design.
